Artist's Comments
This piece is a mixed water color/acrylic/ink interpretation of Dante, the Legendary son of the Dark Knight, Sparda from the video game, "Devil May Cry". There is a painting in the third installment which features a young Dante on an antique sofa. My girlfriend really liked it (DMC is her favortite game), but liked the older Dante from the first game better. So, as a b-day present (happy birthday!
 ) I painted this rendition the original Dante, inspired by the pose and setting in the other painting, with my own take and style. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
